Questions
- What happens after the trial?
- Personal Gmail accounts drop to the free allowance of 50 tracked messages a month. Accounts on a custom domain need a subscription to keep tracking, because the free tier is for personal use only.
- How do multi-mailbox plans work?
- One subscription covers several Gmail accounts, including the one that pays. A 3-mailbox plan covers yours plus two others. You attach them from the extension, and a released seat stays reserved for 30 days.
- Does it work on mobile?
- Tracking is applied by the extension as you send, so messages sent from the Gmail mobile app are not tracked. Opens are still recorded wherever the recipient reads them.
- How accurate is it?
- An open is recorded when the recipient's mail client loads a 1x1 image. Clients that block images will not register it, Gmail's proxy sometimes loads it more than once, and opening the message yourself in Sent looks the same as the recipient reading it. Treat the count as a signal rather than an exact figure.
