Do I need a card to start?

Not for the free plan — personal Gmail tracks 50 messages a month with no card at all. Pro starts with a free month, and that does ask for a card up front: nothing is charged until the month is up, and cancelling before then costs nothing.

Can I use the free plan for work?

No. The free allowance is licensed for personal use only. If you are emailing in the course of a business — sales, marketing, recruitment, client work, freelancing — you need a paid plan, even from a personal Gmail address. Mailboxes on a custom domain cannot track without one at all.

How do multi-mailbox plans work?

One subscription covers several Gmail accounts, including the one that pays. A 3-mailbox plan covers yours plus two others. You attach them from the extension, and a released seat stays reserved for 30 days.

Does it block trackers in mail I receive?

Yes. Hidden tracking pixels in your incoming mail are caught as the message renders and stopped before they load, so the sender is not told you opened it. The free plan blocks 50 a month; past that they are still detected and listed, just no longer blocked. Pro blocks without limit.

Does it work on mobile?

Tracking is applied by the extension as you send, so messages sent from the Gmail mobile app are not tracked. Opens are still recorded wherever the recipient reads them.

How accurate is it?

An open is recorded when the recipient's mail client loads a 1x1 image. Clients that block images will not register it, Gmail's proxy sometimes loads it more than once, and opening the message yourself in Sent looks the same as the recipient reading it. Treat the count as a signal rather than an exact figure.
